  • Additional information

Graphene Nanoplatelets (GNPs) are stackable, platelet-shaped particles consisting of multiple layers of graphene with thicknesses typically between 5 nm and 15 nm and diameters from sub-micron to tens of micrometers. They offer exceptional thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties, used to enhance materials, create conductive composites, and improve barrier performance.

Key Characteristics & Advantages:

  • Structure: Short stacks of graphene sheets, often with oxygen-containing functional groups (hydroxyl, carboxyl) on edges.
  • Conductivity: High electrical and thermal conductivity, suitable for conductive polymer composites, inks, and coatings.
  • Mechanical Enhancement: Significantly increases tensile strength, modulus, and stiffness when added to polymers, ceramics, and metals.
  • Barrier Properties: Planar shape creates tortuous paths that block gas and liquid permeability in packaging and protective coatings.
  • Processing: Can be dispersed in various solvents and thermoplastic or thermoset matrices, often with surface functionalization to improve compatibility.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, cibo mundi ea duo, vim exerci phaedrum. There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have alteration in some injected or words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrang hidden in the middle of text.

It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting unchanged. It was popularised in the sheets containing lorem ipsum is simply free text.
